The Restaurant

Gourmands expecting a hushed, imposing salon – a “temple to food” – may be surprised at The Waterside Inn. But they won’t be disappointed...

While our restaurant celebrates the finest cuisine, we prefer a more relaxed environment in which to enjoy it. Hence, pristine linen-ed tables, complete with glistening silverware and crystal, are set within elegantly comfortable surroundings full of colour and charm. Some, positioned in the vast picture window, afford river views that are truly magical. Other, more intimate, tables to the rear allow diners to sink into green silk banquettes and enjoy the ebb and flow of the river – and the restaurant – reflected in the mirrored panels above their head. But all offer the opportunity to take full advantage of the Thames-side setting in balmy weather, with drinks or coffees and mignardises served on the terrace.
