The Waterside Inn is situated at the end of a picturesque road in Bray, a 16th Century village on the banks of the River Thames. (Bray is located 2 minutes from the M4 motorway, 20 minutes from Heathrow and 45 minutes from London.) Our tranquil location is the perfect setting for a world-class culinary experience or a romantic weekend away from the city.

When you visit us we want you to enjoy yourself. Let our staff use their knowledge and skills to enhance your pleasure and spoil you.

After a warm welcome you will be ushered through the beamed reception area, warmed by a fire during the winter, to The Waterside Inn dining room. Its fresh elegant ambiance is in perfect harmony with the surroundings. Modern but comfortable in design, the pristine room looks out on the river, which is reflected throughout the room. It is a perfect setting for the culinary experience, which you are about to have.

Perhaps you choose an aperitif, perhaps not; the menu presented; canapés served; not certain about which wine or what to choose from the menu? Not to worry, guidance is always at hand. The General Manager, Diego Masciaga, can aid you on the menu and our Sommeliery team is readily available to advise or offer help.

After dinner perhaps you'll choose to retreat to the cosy lounge off the reception for coffee and petits fours. During the long summer nights aperitifs or coffee may be taken in one of the two summerhouses on the terrace overlooking the river. As the sun sets you can watch the swans going about their daily rituals and perhaps a rowing boat or two.

If you are entertaining friends and family in the restaurant we ask tables for 8 - 10 guests to select a menu in advance. This choice will be served to the entire table. We will, of course, cater for anyone with special dietary requirements.
